What’s My Story?

Hi, I’m Scott.

I find “About Me” pages amusing on these websites. I won’t try to sound like a Buddhist monk. I mean…I just had to look up how to spell the word “Buddhist”.

I will however, give you a little snippet of what has led me here but I’m guessing all you really want to know is – can this guy help me?!

So what has led me to talking to you now?

Being a creative, I made a promise to myself at school that I would never get a desk job and work a 9-5.

Well – that was one hell of a broken promise…

Over 15 years later of agency and client work, climbing the corporate ladder, I ended as a successful Art Director working for Amazon.

I was travelling the world, leading and developing creative teams. I had a great salary, the perks and status – I was doing what I thought I should do, what society, parents and peers expect…yet inside, I was struggling to live my own life.

I knew I had to change something, but didn’t know what.

I worked with a life coach and ended up training as a life coach myself.

I gained the awareness and clarity I needed.

I started asking myself questions and when I wasn’t happy with the answer, I made changes to my life.

In one year, I changed my job, my career, my house, my home town, my diet, my habits, my mental attitude and my girlfriend.

I had moved from a life expected of me, to one that I had designed for myself.

It was hard work, but the shift in my life has been so powerful.

And I’m here to support you to do the same, right now.

Why Am I Coaching?

Because of you.

During the span of my career, I’ve come to realise what my purpose is – the development of other people.

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to work with incredibly talented individuals who recognise within themselves the need to flourish in their professional lives.

But it’s not all about work. Our personal lives play a major role in how we show up within our careers. Things in our past can have a result on how we think, feel, act and ultimately leads to our actions…or inactions.

Being able to understand what potentially could block you, or ignite you, is something that gives me the motivation in finding and developing your purpose in life.
